We were introduced to a business that had traded as a partnership for over 40 years, and as the business and its profits grew its partners ended up paying 50% tax on their profit shares. Our advice was to incorporate the business to mitigate their personal tax liabilities which not only improved cash flow personally but for the business too, and also gave the owners limited lability protection .

How do I get the right contracts for my business?

We worked with our Financial Services client to develop a range of employment contracts to support and protect their business. We created bespoke contracts for senior roles with simpler versions for junior staff, making this a cost effective solution for the client.

It is important to promote all of the good things about your company to your employees regularly. We can set up a quality pension and life cover plan and provide group presentations and personal clinics for all employees each year promoting what the you do for them. All at no cost to you.

What would happen if a key director or employee died?

Over 50% of companies fail due to financial issues within 12 months of the death of a major shareholder or director. Protecting the company and the family of key directors and shareholders is vital and ensures the company can survive.

How do I comply with data protection and GDPR legislation?

Our GDPR Audit service has helped our Accountancy firm client to identify and document their existing data protection processes and identify where they need to implement new processes or policies to comply with legislation. We followed up with a GDPR Compliance Check to ensure they were on track to be fully compliant.

How do I deal with Employment Tribunal claim?

We successfully defended an Employment Tribunal claim for our Beauty Industry client. As their go-to employment experts, they sought our advice early in the case. We were able to prepare a robust defence which resulted in a successful outcome for our client.

I have got a data subject access request - what do I do?

When our Property industry client received a Data Subject Access Request, we helped them successfully navigate their obligations, and prepare their response. We have subsequently advised them in setting up a standardised process to help them manage future DSARs to minimise the time and effort spent in the future.
